The National H-index Ranking is an independent international indicator that allows to assess the scientific effectiveness of scientists and scientific institutions of a particular country, using the Hirsch index as the main criterion.
The Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking serves as a tool for analysing the scientific achievements of Kyrgyz scientists, educational and research institutions, based on information from leading international scientometric resources such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS) and Google Scholar.
Main tasks of the National H-index Ranking:
- Conducting a comparative assessment of scientific achievements at the national and international levels.
- Analysing the level of scientific performance of scientists and research institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
- Promoting the competitiveness of science and encouraging innovation.
- Formation of priority areas for the rational allocation of financial resources in the field of research.
A place among the leaders in such rankings helps to improve the image of institutions, strengthen their credibility, and attract investment, highly qualified personnel and talented young people.

The Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking is an important tool for assessing the effectiveness of scientific activities of individual researchers, scientific and educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan. Its use allows us to identify the main vectors of scientific development in the country, as well as to highlight the achievements of scientists both within the country and abroad.
