Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking update: Q4 2024

National H-index Ranking updates data twice a year – in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Now experts are assessing the national indicators of individual countries, gradually updating the information on the website. Today we will look at how the indicators of scientific organisations and institutions of Kyrgyzstan have changed as of the 4th quarter of 2024.

National H-index Ranking

National H-index Ranking is an independent international ranking that assesses the scientific productivity of scientific organisations, institutions and researchers at the national level. The main criterion for determining the position in the ranking is the Hirsch Index (h-index), which we have described in detail in our article.

Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking

Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking evaluates the scientific activity of scientists, scholars, organisations and institutions in Kyrgyzstan using data from international scientific databases and platforms such as Web of Science (WoS), Google Scholar and Scopus.

Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking encourages scientists to actively engage in research, increasing their professional status, and stimulates the development of institutions and organisations where they work. This opens up new opportunities for international co-operation and scientific progress. The formation and further development of this ranking is important for the scientific community of Kyrgyzstan, as it allows them to present their achievements on the world scientific arena.

Hirsch Index of Kyrgyzstan as of Q4 2024 

The Hirsch Index is an important indicator of scientific activity in the modern world, as it reflects the level of popularity of a scientist and his publications, as well as his influence and authority. High scientometric indicators can help improve the university's position on the international stage, attract gifted students and teachers, and increase its competitiveness.
