Kyrgyz National H-index Ranking is a ranking that compares the productivity and impact of researchers working in Kyrgyzstan. H-index is a bibliometric indicator that measures the fruitfulness and impact of scientific activity. H-index is considered one of the most important indicators of success in the scientific environment.
Methodology of the national ranking of Kyrgyzstan by H-index
This ranking system uses a unique approach. It collects data from three well-known academic databases: Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. This total index determines the position of an institution or scientist in the ranking.
Kyrgyzstan's overall H-index for the second quarter of 2024 rose to 136, indicating an increase in the country's scientific productivity.
