The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved the priority directions of science development until 2028. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic will be responsible for and implement the financing of fundamental and applied scientific research, scientific and technical programmes and projects, targeted scientific research on priority directions of development of science, scientific and technical and scientific-innovation activities within the limits of funds, including through the state order provided for science.
Control over the implementation of this Order shall be entrusted to the Department of Control over the Implementation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The following indicators are used to assess the level of a journal:
- Quartile – reflects the influence of the publication within the scientometric database and shows the level of popularity of the journal among its respective indexing category. For this assessment journals are divided into approximately 4 groups (Q1-Q4).
- Percentile – shows the ranking of the publication in its subject area. For example, a score of 99 indicates that the publication is in the top 1% of the most cited journals in the subject area.
