Scientific Publications has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Association for the Protection of Farmers' Rights (AFRD).
The Association for Farmers Rights Defense (AFRD) is a non-profit, democratic organization dedicated to protecting the rights of Georgia's farmers, promoting agricultural economic growth in the region, and working for innovation and sustainability in Georgia's agricultural and food systems. The Association was formed with the assistance of ACDI-VOCA, the American National Farm Bureau, local farmers and Georgia farm organizations in 1999.

AFRD demonstrates competence and experience in successful planning, implementation and monitoring of agribusiness development and partnership programs in rural Georgia, working closely with local and international organizations.
AFRD's policies for farmers and farmers' movements include training courses on organic farming, biodiversity, climate and renewable energy, as well as legal advice and protection of farmers' rights. The organization supports rural and ecotourism, develops training programs for young people in Georgia, the EU and the USA, and promotes the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
