According to the latest data, 9 journals have been excluded from the Scopus scientometrics database. As usual, the main reasons for the exclusion of most journals were "Publication Concerns" and "Radar".
"Publication Concerns" is a general category that indicates that a journal has had problems with publications that may be negative for its reputation or the credibility of the research papers it publishes. Such reasons include: questionable publication practices; low-quality articles that do not meet scientific standards; data falsification; non-compliance with Scopus standards and requirements, etc.
The Radar tool detects unusual behavior in journals and is useful for identifying potential anomalies in scientific publications. Such anomalies can indicate various problems, such as malpractice, manipulation of indicators, or unusual changes in the internal processes of a publication.
