Recently, the Scopus scientometric database has published a list of journals that have been excluded from its membership for August 2023. These exclusions were the result of the journals' non-compliance with the norms of scientific publication ethics and the existing violations detected by the Scopus Radar verification system.
The results of the exclusions and the August number of journals included in them allow us to emphasize the importance of adhering to high standards of scientific publication and choosing the right journal once again.

It is important to note that monitoring and exclusion of journals from the Scopus database is one of the initiatives aimed at improving the quality of scientific publications and encouraging journals to raise the standards of publication activities. Exclusions serve as an incentive for journals to improve the processes of reviewing and editing articles, which contributes to increasing the level of trust in scientific publications and enhancing their credibility.
For researchers and authors who want to publish in reputable journals and avoid the risks associated with the possibility of getting into a journal with a bad reputation, it is extremely important to choose the right partner company.
"Scientific Publications" uses a specially developed methodology of publishing analytics: we select publications that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. If you want to publish your scientific articles in Scopus, then consider our service "Publishing in Scopus".
